To enjoy amazing benefits on the HealthXtra Insurance plan, Access Bank has partnered with Hygeia HMO Limited (Hygeia), the leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and the first accredited HMO in Nigeria regulated by the National Health Insurance Scheme to provide quality and affordable health coverage.  By dialing *901*20# you can now subscribe to the HealthXtra plan for just N6,000 per annum and avoid paying out of pocket for basic ailments like malaria, typhoid, upper respiratory tract infection and lots more.

Health plans include:

  1. Annual and Monthly plan
  2. Telemedicine consultation
  3. Accommodation (up to 3days)
  4. Immunization 0-5years
  5. Hospital Coverage( over 1,200 hospital nationwide)
  6. Antenatal Care
  7. Minor Surgeries

You can subscribe to the HealthXtra plan by dialing *901*20#
No. You are covered for a period of one year after paying the subscription amount of N6,000 to enroll. However, the cover would be limited to the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of the health Plan.
 
The HealthXtra plan covers you for a period of one year and is renewable yearly.
The eCard or Hygeia Mobile app containing your enrollee number should be presented at any of the listed provider hospitals and the hospital will then confirm membership, then treat.
 
Must not exceed 60-years old.
Yes, it can be extended.  However, you will be required to pay for each subscription.
After enrollment, you will receive a welcome mail or text message which will contain a link from which you can access your e-card or download the Hygeia HMO Mobile App.
