Access Bank's Mobile Money service (a.k.a AccessMoney) developed and delivered in collaboration with Airtel Nigeria.

It enables customers to perform Simple, Secure and Instant financial transactions using their mobile phone on any network, any mobile device anytime and anywhere

   HOW IT WORKS

Access Money agency service has 3 categories as shown below:

Category

Responsibility

Super Agent

Have contractual relationship with the MMO. The Super agent is to recruit and manage a pool of Mobile Money agents who will be referred to as Sub agents

Sub Agent

Is an agent recruited by an aggregator to service end-users? The sub agents are managed by the aggregator

Direct/Sole Agent

Are agents directly recruited by the bank/MMO to service end-users? Direct/Sole agent operates on its own and relate directly with the representatives of the bank/MMO.

Become an AccessMoney Agent

All Agents are required to fulfil the following minimum recruitment criteria:

  1. Complete Access Mobile Money Agent registration form

  2. Must have an operational mobile phone

  3. Must have a valid Bank account in Access Bank

  4. Must operate from a location (proof of address)

  5. Means of Identification (Photocopy of valid ID)

  6. A recent Passport Photograph

  7. Must undergo Agent Training and be certified by Access Bank Plc - Agents will be awarded a duly signed certificate after successfully completing an agent training class.

How to Identify an Agent Location

A service outlet will be recognized by the Access Money Logo and the Mr. Money icon.
 

Steps
 
  • Dial *903# from your mobile phone.

  • Enter 3 for "Bill Payment" option.

  • The menu will display different Bill Payment option available (DSTV, PHCN etc)

  • Enter the number for appropriate option e.g Enter 2 for DSTV bills payment.

  • Supply the necessary details and follow the prompt.

  • Dial *903# from your mobile phone.

  • Enter 1 to select "Buy Airtime" option

  • Select either "Top up my Number" or "Other Phone number" option

  • Input amount and Input Phone number for "Other Phone number" option.

  • Input PIN to validate transaction.

  • A notification is sent via SMS on the successful transaction of the top-up.

Depositing at Access Bank Branch

Steps:

  • Visit any Access Bank branch

  • Fill a deposit slip inputting your name, phone number (e-wallet account number), amount to be deposited.

  • Give the deposit slip to the teller alongside with the cash.

  • The teller will process the transaction for you. You will receive a notification via SMS that your transaction has been completed with your e-value.

 

Depositing at Agent Location

Steps:

  • Visit any Access Money Agent location nearest to you.

  • Fill a slip inputting your name, phone number (e-wallet account number), amount to be deposited and Agent I.D

  • Give the Agent the slip alongside with the cash.

  • The Agent will process the transaction for you. You will receive a notification via SMS that your transaction has been completed with your e-value.

You can download this App on all Java-enabled mobile phones. Simply send "D AM" to 20220 as an SMS in order to download and run the Mobile Banking application.
If you have a smart phone, please visit the App store and search for / type in the Search bar "Mobile Banking-Classic" to download.

The Classic service runs on Java-enabled phones and Smartphones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry). You can carry out the following transactions on the Classic service:

  • Funds Transfer (Inter-Bank & Intra-Bank)
  • Bills Payment
  • Phone Airtime Purchase
  • Balance Enquiry
  • Mini Statement

Send Money to a Mobile Wallet

Steps:

  • Dial *903# on your phone

  • Select "Send Money" option

  • Select to Access Money Account

  • Input beneficiary's phone number and amount

  • Enter PIN to validate your transaction.

  • You will receive a notification via SMS that your transaction has been processed.

Send Money to any Bank Account

Steps:

  • Dial *903# on your phone

  • Select "Send Money" option

  • Select to Bank Account

  • Select Bank Name and Input Account Name

  • Enter Amount and Input PIN to validate transaction.

  • You will receive a notification via SMS that your transaction has been processed.

Withdraw through our Agents

Steps:

  • Visit any of our Access Money Agent nearest to you.

  • Dial *903# from your phone and select "Withdraw Money" option

  • Select "Agent Withdrawal" option.

  • Enter the Amount, Agent Code and validate the transaction with your PIN.

  • You will receive a notification via SMS that your transaction has been processed.

  • Receive the cash from the agent.

Withdraw through ATM

Steps:

  • Dial *903# from your phone and select "Withdraw Money" option

  • Select "ATM Withdrawal" option.

  • Enter the Amount and validate the transaction with your PIN.

  • You will receive a transaction code for successful withdrawal.

  • Keep the code and visit any of our nearest ATM

  • Press '0' to perform a cardless withdrawal.

  • Select Access Money and Input your Phone number, Amount Initiated, and the transaction code received and select continue.

  • Receive your cash from the ATM.
